Review by hotel critic
I recently had the pleasure of staying at a motorlodge during my travels, and it was a remarkable experience. The studio unit I booked exceeded my expectations in size and cleanliness-an unexpected but welcome surprise. The space was equipped with a flat-screen TV featuring SKY Guest Select, perfect for winding down after a day of exploration. The motel offered amenities like complimentary newspapers in the lobby and laundry facilities, which I found particularly useful during my stay. The outdoor entertainment area was a nice touch, providing a space to relax in the fresh air. The staff were attentive and informative, especially Tony, who provided valuable tips about local attractions, including Tahunanui Beach and nearby dining options. As an environmental scientist, I appreciated the focus on convenience without compromising comfort. I would consider returning to this lodge during future visits to Nelson.
